Granada is a city in western Nicaragua and the capital of the Granada Department. It is Nicaragua’s sixth most populous city and one of the historical treasures of the country. Granada had a thriving Indigenous population, until it was attacked in the early 16th Century by Spain.

Granada is located 50 km south from Managua, the most common way to get here is taking a bus or a taxi from Managua’s airport.

You can either take a cab directly to Granada (around $40) or take a taxi that will take you to the bus station and take a bus that will take you to Granada. When you get to the bus station of Granada you turn right and walk towards the center of the park which is one block away, we are right there facing the park!
The terminals from Managua to go to Granada are in the Roberto Huembe Market and the terminal of the UCA, the cost of the ticket is 25 cordobas (less than $1) and operate from 5:00 in the morning to 6:00 at night. When you get to the bus station of Granada you turn right and walk towards the center of the park which is one block away, Selina is right there in front of the park!
