Where to stay in Isla Mujeres, Mexico?

Since Isla Mujeres is only 7km long and a few km wide, you could technically stay in any area. However, not all districts are made equal. Playa Norte is just footsteps away from Selina Isla Mujeres, where guests will find arguably the best hotel Isla Mujeres has to offer.

Spacious co-living apartments are great for short and long-term guests who want to relax and unwind for up to weeks and months at a time. With bicycles, golf carts and electric scooters ready for hire, we’ll give you the best local recommendations to explore the island in style.

Is Isla Mujeres safe for solo female travelers?

Isla Mujeres tends to be very safe for all types of travelers and has been rated as ‘okay’ or medium for female safety on popular nomad websites. We always recommend that tourists take the proper precautions when visiting a foreign land and remain vigilant throughout their travels.

TIP: book Isla Mujeres activities for group settings so that you can meet other solo travelers and make some friends for the rest of your trip,

Is snorkelling good in Isla Mujeres?

Yes, the biodiversity around Isla Mujeres is some of the best you’ll find off the coast of any Mexico beaches. Those who time it right can spot turtles, pufferfish and plenty of corals. Snorkeling can be performed off the coast by boat or on the beaches themselves, and the rental equipment is widely available on the island.

Which is better for activities, Isla Mujeres or Cozumel?

As the other local island, Cozumel rivals Isla Mujeres in terms of its convenience and relaxed vibe. But it’s a much larger island, which means that getting around by car is advisable. Cozumel has less of a local feel and is more commercialized, which means great access to American brands like Starbucks.

If however, you are going on vacation to escape the States, we recommend Isla Mujeres for a better experience.

What time does Camden market open?

Camden market opening hours in London are 10 am every morning. Fortunately, it’s open literally every single day of the year apart from Christmas, on the 25th of December. Camden lock market closes at 6 pm every day. On rare occasions every month, the sellers will remain open throughout the evening to provide a ‘night market’

How many days to spend in Camden?

Honestly, tourists don’t need to allocate more than two days to explore Camden. As one of London’s smallest boroughs, most of the attractions here are within walking distance of each other.

After visiting Camden Market, London and the United Kingdom’s offerings continue to extend. We recommend at least another 4-5 days to see London, and then one week to see some other cities in the UK. Why not try Manchester, Liverpool, or Brighton?

What day is Camden market best?

Honestly, any day at Camden Market is great. It’s popular with domestic tourists as well as international travelers.

Just be careful if you visit Camden market (London) Saturdays or Sundays since the kids are out of school and most of the workforce also has their days off. Inevitably, the school holidays of July and August, as well as ‘half terms’ in the UK will also be busier times to visit Camden market.

Must-see UK destinations?

After London, we recommend a visit to the North. Liverpool and Manchester are two Northern powerhouses with eclectic cultural hotspots. In Liverpool, check out all the Beatles memorabilia on Matthew Street, especially in Cavern Club where the band once performed. Alternatively, Manchester’s Northern Quarter is home to a great nightlife scene, with Albert Schloss and Escape to Frieght Island nearby.

To stay relatively close to London, both Brighton and Birmingham are only a short train ride away. In summertime, Brighton’s beaches are the place to be, whereas a trip during another season might be best-suited to Birminghams city life.

Which city has the best street art?

After taking a street art tour, Lisbon cements itself as the place to be for graffiti in Portugal. While some of its other cities are great for beaches and surfing (Ericeira), Lisbon truly takes the cake when it comes to street art.

However, there are a number of nearby European cities that can compete with the street art in Lisbon. Check out Prague and Barcelona for competition to Lisbon’s street art, as well as London. Although each of these cities has different styles to that found in Lisbon, they offer a good volume of pieces that can keep visitors occupied for days. And if you’re looking for a place to stay while you’re in London, Selina Camden just might be the choice for you.

How many days do you need to see Lisbon?

The perfect Lisbon itinerary calls for at least five days in the city (although we’d suggest more). If you’re combining Portugal’s capital with other destinations in the country, you’ll want to take at least two weeks of vacation time to explore.

Seeing the best art galleries in Lisbon will take at least a day or more on their own. Then, there’s the markets, the miradouros and all of the other cultural sights in the city. Don’t forget about a trip down to the river if you want to feel like a true local.
